Brasilia is a paradise for those cultivating architecture and urbanism. The truly new sprigs out in very  pure shapes and spaces that are absolutely perfect extend themselves to the horizon, all the way to the grand mast and its portly flag.

The National Congress, visible from all the extremities of the Plano Piloto, is the most representative symbol of Brasilia. At its back there is the Praça dos Três Poderes, integrating the Legislative (National Congress), the Executive (Palácio do Planalto) and the Judiciary (Supreme Federal Court).

Other not to be missed buildings: the Palácio do Itamaraty – or Palace of the Arches –, the Palácio da Alvorada and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The JK Bridge, designed by Alexandre Chan and inaugurated in December of 2000, is also worth a visit, same with the TV Tower, with the best panoramic view of the Eixo Monumental. And for a happy ending: how about taking a motorboat ride in the Paranoá Lake?

Enjoy Brasilia!
