The Jardim Botânico, with its beautiful greenhouses, the Bosque do Papa João Paulo II, with its typical Polish architecture, and the Universidade Livre do Meio Ambiente – Unilivre , embedded in Bosque Zaninelli, provide culture and unique moments of well-being next to nature.

The peculiar Ópera de Arame (Wire Opera) – situated in the Parque das Pedreiras and designed for artistic and cultural presentations – the super-modern Museu Oscar Niemeyer – which houses national, international and travelling exhibits – the classic Museu Paranaense – opened in 1876 and which today houses an important collection of objects, paintings and sculptures of that time, plus a large collection of anthropological and archaeological objects – and the beating Centro Histórico, around the Praça Garibaldi, are other attractions that enrich the city, and the ones who visit it.
